Focus on the Family Canada is deeply grateful for World Vision Canada’s support of our Waiting to Belong initiative. Through this partnership in community, World Vision will subsidize a portion of the programming costs for our new project in Calgary, Alta.
 
As a Christian relief and advocacy organization, World Vision Canada strives to advance the peace and well-being of children, families and communities by developing national strategies with community-based organizations. We’re proud to partner with them as we work together to recruit Christian families to provide loving homes for children waiting to be adopted in Calgary.

Who We Are

Waiting to Belong started as a movement to help the more than 30,000 kids in Canada who are waiting to be adopted. Our goal is to see as many waiting kids as possible be placed into loving, forever families. We work to shape realistic perceptions of adoption and to encourage the body of Christ to come alongside adoptive families in practical, loving ways.
