The Christian Alliance for Orphans has been holding a series of very helpful webinars . . .

The Christian Alliance for Orphans has been holding a series of very helpful webinars on various topics related to offering support to churches who want to make an impact in the lives of vulnerable children. They have graciously granted us permission to post some of these webinars on this website. We appreciate their wonderful spirit of partnership!

In this webinar, Jason Weber gives an excellent presentation on starting a church-based ministry. He suggests eight steps to get your ministry off the ground, and is both entertaining and practical.

To explore this topic further, we recommend the DVD Launching an Orphans Ministry in Your Church, which Jason created with Paul Pennington. It is published by FamilyLife Publishing, and you can obtain a copy from our online bookstore.

Who We Are

Waiting to Belong started as a movement to help the more than 30,000 kids in Canada who are waiting to be adopted. Our goal is to see as many waiting kids as possible be placed into loving, forever families. We work to shape realistic perceptions of adoption and to encourage the body of Christ to come alongside adoptive families in practical, loving ways.
